How to find us

By public transport:

In order to work on the expansion of the Metrolink tram network, train services on the Oldham Loop Line ceased after the last train on 3 October 2009.

First and GMPTE have worked together to develop the level and frequency of bus services to cover the closure of the Oldham Loop line.

By car:

Follow the link above to 'View Groundwork Oldham & Rochdale in a larger map'. Go to the 'Get Directions' tab on Google maps and add your location and destination.

If approaching along eastbound M61, M62 or M6: Join the M60 clockwise (North and West). At junction 18 join the M62. Leave the M62 at junction 20 and get on the A627(M) (Oldham). If approaching along westbound M62: Leave M62 at junction 20 and get on the A627(M) (Oldham).

From A627(M): Follow signs onto A627 (Oldham Way). At the roundabout at the end of the Oldham Way take the second exit A62 Huddersfield Road. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Shaw Road. The Environment Centre is on the right hand side. Visitor parking is at the side of the building.
