Groundwork's purpose is to 'build sustainable communities in areas of need through joint environmental action'

To do this, we deliver projects and programmes in partnership in six key areas:

Business: integrating the economy and the environment                              Communities: building stronger neighbourhoods                                                     Education: learning, citizenship and sustainability                                       Employment: training people for work and stimulating enterprise
Land: reconnecting people with their surroundings
